Descrição: The Universidad del Norte and Institute of Atmospheric Sciences/Federal University of Alagoas (ICAT/UFAL) have formalized an agreement to work together in research activities focusing on tropical meteorology, climatology and climate change in the South American region with a particular emphasis on tropical waves. This will entail participation in collaborative research projects, seminars, doctoral dissertation examining boards, academic publications and visits and exchange of researchers and students.
